The agent for Marvin Stone has confirmed the former UK Wildcat and Louisville Cardinal has died.
Hirant Manakian, who is listed as the agent for Stone, says that Stone collapsed at halftime of a game in Saudi Arabia and died. He was 27-years-old.
Manakian tells 27 Sportsfirst that Stone's family has been notified.
Stone had been playing in Cyprus but signed with a Saudi Arabian team on Monday.
In another twist, Stone's team, Al-Ittihad, was playing against Ohud, a team that features another former Wildcat, Jules Camara, on its roster.
Stone played 2 years at UK before transferring to Louisville.
Funeral Arrangements have not been made, and it is not clear what caused the collapse. Stone had scored 11 points in the first half of the game.
