Harry Ulinski, an All-SEC performer for the football Wildcats, passed away Sunday in Louisville.
Ulinski, a four-year letterman, played for Bear Bryant from 1946-49. A captain on the 1949 UK team, Ulinski played center and linebacker.
The Ambridge, Pa. native played in the Great Lakes and Orange Bowls for the Wildcats. He played with the Washington Redskins from 1950-56 and was All-Pro in 1956.
Ulinski is a member of the UK Athletic Hall of Fame and his name is honored at Commonwealth Stadium.
Ulinski was 83. His grandson, Dave, recently signed to play football for the Wildcats.
