Earlier this week, Rowan County's Amber Riddle broke the home run record for girls softball with the 31st of her career against Mason County. Saturday morning, Riddle claimed the single-season mark with home runs number 13 and 14 versus Trimble County.

Riddle hit eight homers as a freshman and added 11 her sophomore season. Now, as a junior, Riddle has 14 with six regular-season games remaining, plus post season.
