Cats Set To Open SEC Tournament Vs. Alabama

Coming off just the fourth 40-win season
in school history, the Kentucky baseball team still thinks it has
something to prove in this week's Southeastern Conference
tournament.
The fourth-seeded Wildcats open tournament play on Wednesday
against fifth seed Alabama. Kentucky swept a three-game series from
the Crimson Tide, though Kentucky coach John Cohen says Alabama has
improved greatly since then and the Wildcats need to be wary.
Kentucky is led by second baseman Ryan Wilkes, outfielders
Sawyer Carroll and Collin Cowgill and pitcher Chris Rusin. All four
were named to the All-SEC first team, the most of any school in the
conference.
