Pleasure Ridge Park Wins State Baseball Title

Louisville PRP scored two runs in the first and added two more in the sixth as the Panthers beat Lawrence County, 4 - 1, to claim the state baseball title.

Pitchers Trey Harper and Zach Cox combined to four-hit Lawrence County. Harper picked up the win to stay undefeated (7 - 0) on the season. Cox retired the 'Dogs in order in the seventh inning to record the save.

PRP held a 2 - 1 lead going into the sixth when Zach Osborne singled to right field to score Alex Hornback. He later scored on a sacrifice fly from Eric Bainer.

PRP closes its championship season with a 38 - 4 record.
