Brooks' Fishing Boat Overturns In Oregon

UK Football Coach Rich Brooks is all right after a boat he was fishing in turned over this morning on an Oregon River. Brooks was fishing at the time with Brady Brooks, one of his sons and Walter Barger of Portland, OR.
According to the Lane County Sheriff's office the three launched thier 15 foot draft boat at about 10:30 this morning to fish the Mckenzie River. A strong current pushed the boat into a single log in the channel and the boat overturned.
All three on board were able to swim to a gravel bar. Search and rescue, marine deputies and MvKenzie Fire and Rescue assisted in rescuing and transporting the three to Bellinger Landing.
The sheriff's office says one of the subjects was treated for minor injuries and released. None were wearing life jackets at the time of the accident.
