Lofton will join Nuggets for Summer League

Former Kentucky Mr. Basketball Chris Lofton has made his summer plans. The Maysville native will join the Denver Nuggets summer league team, which begins play next Saturday in Las Vegas.

Lofton told 27 SportsFirst that he leaves for Las Vegas on Wednesday. Lofton also had an offer to play for Charlotte's summer league team.

Lofton went undrafted out of Tennessee, where he was an All-American. The guard averaged more than 15 points last year for the Vols.
