Brooks, Kragthorpe headline Governor's Cup Luncheon

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky coach Rich Brooks says he's still
not sure whether Mike Hartline or Curtis Pulley will be under
center for the Wildcats when they open the season at rival
Louisville on Aug. 31.
Brooks said Thursday during the annual Governor's Cup luncheon
in Lexington that both players will get equal time with the first
team when training camp begins next month. Brooks praised the play
of both quarterbacks during spring drills, and said he has no
timetable for naming a starter.
Louisville is set at quarterback with Hunter Cantwell, but coach
Steve Kragthorpe says there are still plenty of holes to fill,
namely at wide receiver and linebacker. Louisville lost its entire
starting linebacking unit after last season.
Camp begins for both schools on Aug. 5.
