Little goes on PUP, continues rehabbing knee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans placed running back
Rafael Little on the physically unable to perform list to reach the
roster limit of 75 by the NFL deadline.
Now the rookie out of Kentucky has more time to continue his
recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and show them what
he might be able to do later this year.
Asked if Little has a chance to make the roster, coach Jeff
Fisher said Tuesday the Titans have time on that decision.
"Obviously he's not ready now. He's way ahead of schedule, he's
working very, very hard, he's strong. So we'll give him six more
weeks to continue to rehab, and then we'll have the luxury of
having him on the practice field for 20 more days," Fisher said.
The Titans already have LenDale White and drafted Chris Johnson
in the first round in April to go with Chris Henry.
Little tore his left ACL at the Senior Bowl in January and had
surgery Feb. 5. But he is one of only three in Southeastern
Conference history with 2,500 yards rushing and 1,000 yards
receiving. He talked with three other teams before deciding to sign
as an undrafted free agent with Tennessee.
