Former Boyle Co. star signed to Browns practice squad

The Cleveland Browns have signed OL Travis Leffew to the practice squad and have waived OL Nathan Bennett from the practice squad, the club announced today.

Leffew, who played at Boyle Co. and then Louisville, entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2006.

Leffew, 6-4 and 292 lbs., spent the 2008 training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs and was waived on Aug. 31, 2008. He spent most of the 2006 season on the Green Bay Packers practice squad and portions of the 2007 season on the Atlanta Falcons practice squad.
