LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Injury woes continue to plague the
Kentucky offense as receiver Kyrus Lanxter was ruled doubtful for
Saturday's game against Arkansas with a sprained knee.
Lanxter, third on the Wildcats' receiving depth chart, has
caught seven receptions in three games. He is the second Wildcat
receiver to be disabled this week, after senior Dickey Lyons Jr.
was ruled out for the season Monday with a knee injury.
Coach Rich Brooks said there was good news, though, as the
Wildcats will welcome back junior receiver DeMoreo Ford against the
Razorbacks. Ford has dealt with a string of injuries this season,
including a sprained shoulder picked up during his only reception
of the year, a 48-yard touchdown catch in the loss to Alabama on
Oct. 4.
