Big Drama out of Kentucky Derby

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Big Drama is out of the running for the
Kentucky Derby after kicking himself in his stall in January.
The colt won five of his six starts as a 2-year-old.
The injury in the stall left Big Drama with a bone bruise. It
happened a week before he was to make his 3-year-old debut in the
Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park.
The colt had surgery and returned to training at Calder Race
Course in Miami. He turned in a solid workout March 1, but trainer
David Fawkes and owner-breeder Harold Queen chose not to point
toward the Derby.
The first leg of the Triple Crown is May 2.
