LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Six players scored in double digits as Lexington Catholic rallied to force overtime and win 70-62 in a state tournament game against Bowling Green.

Forward Vee Sanford scored 28 points Thursday, including a floater to go into overtime, to lead the Knights in the fifth game of the Boys' Sweet Sixteen State Basketball Tournament at Rupp Arena.

Lexington Catholic (25-7) outscored the Purples 12-4 in overtime.

Bowling Green (26-7), in the tournament for the first time since 1991, came storming back from a halftime deficit behind 28 points from guard Tevin Barksdale, but had no answer to the Lexington Catholic inside game.
