The New York Knicks have signed guard Joe
Crawford through the remainder of the season.
The 6-foot-5 Crawford has been with the Knicks on a 10-day
contract and has yet to appear in a game. The rookie played 43
games for the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA's Development League
before joining New York on March 27.
Crawford was a second-round pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the
Los Angeles Lakers, and was waived Oct. 22.
The Knicks (30-47) play at Chicago on Tuesday night, return home
to face Detroit on Wednesday, then play at Orlando and Miami before
and finishing with the New Jersey Nets on April 15.
