Doug Flynn Honored At Bryan Station

Former Major Leaguer Doug Flynn was honored tonight with the retirement of his jersey at Bryan Station High School.

Flynn, who played 11 seasons in the big leagues and won two world championships as part of the legendary Big Red Machine, gathered with family and friends as his #23 became the first-ever to be retired by the school.

The former Gold Glove winner also showed off his big league arm by throwing out the first pitch prior to the Defenders 5 - 3 win over rival Henry Clay.
