Blue Beats White In Spring Game 28-23

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Quarterback Will Fidler threw for 110
yards and two touchdowns to lead the Blue team to a 28-23 win over
the White team in Kentucky's annual spring game on Saturday.
Coach Rich Brooks said Fidler, who has played in four games in
two years for the Wildcats, closed the gap between himself and
incumbent starter Mike Hartline.
Fidler had the advantage of having one of the Wildcats' best
all-around players to throw to.
Quarterback-turned-receiver Randall Cobb caught four of Fidler's
passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.
The White team's offense struggled early behind Hartline. He
missed on eight of his first nine pass attempts including an
interception to safety Matt Lentz.
Hartline finished with 208 passing yards, two touchdowns and two
