Harrison County broke open a 1-1 tie with three runs in its final two at-bats as the 'Breds beat Scott High for the 10th region championship.
Mac Whitaker's team got on the board first when Malcom Thomas scored on a RBI single from Matt Dye.
It stayed that way until the fifth when Scott's Tyler Osborne homered to deep right center field to tie the game at 1-1.
But Harrison answered in a big way after a 30-minute lightning delay. Designated hitter Drew Thompson singled up the middle to score Jarred Martin. Then pitch hitter Bobby Seaback grounded a base hit to center to bring home Thompson to make it a 4-1 game.
That's all Breds' pitcher Logan Dailey would need as he struck out the final batter of the game to secure the win. The sophomore got the win in his first-ever regional title game appearance.
