Overbrook Farm announces dispersal of some 200 horses

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A major Kentucky thoroughbred farm that
houses the great former stallion Storm Cat announced it is selling
off some 200 horses, nearly its entire stock.
Overbrook Farm made the announcement Tuesday in a statement from
Keeneland, the Lexington auction house that will organize the
dispersal beginning at its September yearling sale.
Overbrook owner Bill Young Jr. explained he simply didn't have
the same passion for the sport as his father, the late William T.
Young. Young said Overbrook will continue operating as a small
racing stable led by his son, Chris.
Storm Cat still lives on the farm. He was one of the leading
sires in history before his retirement just over a year ago.
