Kentucky To Play In Music City Bowl In Nashville

A story published in the morning Columbia State newspaper in Columbia, South Carolina is reporting that South Carolina's athletic officials have been told the Gamecocks will be invited to play in the Liberty Bowl, in Memphis.

They were also told that Kentucky would be invited to play in the Music City Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee on December 29th.

When asked for his reaction, UK Assistant Athletic Director Scott Stricklin said,"we are not allowed to comment on bowl possibilities until the bids are extended Sunday night. We just know we're playing some where and our fans are excited."
