Travis Ford Confirms Matt Pilgrim Signing
Oklahoma State basketball coach Travis Ford says Kentucky transfer Matt Pilgrim has signed a financial aid agreement to play for the Cowboys.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State basketball coach Travis
Ford says Kentucky transfer Matt Pilgrim has signed a financial aid
agreement to play for the Cowboys.
Pilgrim, a 6-foot-8 forward from Cincinnati, played two seasons
at Hampton, averaging 10.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as a
freshman and 7.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore.
He sat out last season after transferring to Kentucky, but left
that school after coach Billy Gillispie was fired and replaced by
John Calipari.
Ford is a former player at Kentucky.
Oklahoma State officials say Pilgrim will petition the NCAA to
waive a rule that requires players to sit out a season when
transferring between Division I schools. If the waiver is granted,
Pilgrim could play for Oklahoma State next season.

the only thing Billy G was turning this program into was a joke.While i feel for the players who have transfered or let go,I think it is better for them to find a good program where they can help somebody or maybe even a starter.Billy G was recruiting 2 star talent coach Cal is bringing in 4 star talent.I am so glad Billy G is gone, he was a mistake from the beginning!

Quit hating, Calipari is taking us to the top with recruiting and coaching. Neither of which Billy G seemed to posess while at UK.

Getting number 1 recruits does not guarantee National Championships. Hiring a over paid PR person does not guarantee a national championship. It takes time to rebuild and reload. You can take anybody and turn them into something with the right coach and Billy G was on the verge of doing that.
