North Hardin Stops Clay Co. in Overtime

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Linda Dixon made a layup with
eight-and-a-half seconds to play in overtime to help North Hardin
to a 51-to-49 overtime victory over Clay County this afternoon.
Region 13 champion Clay County nearly pulled the game out at the
end as Gemma ("JEM-ma") Gray's three-point shot bounced off the
rim as the buzzer sounded.
Dixon scored 14 points to lead North Hardin, while Mic'a
("MEE-sha") Prince added eleven points and ten rebounds.
Page Jackson of Clay County led all scorers with 17 points,
including a three-point play with just under a minute to play to
send the game to overtime.
