Kentucky’s home game against Eastern Kentucky University on Nov. 7 will kick off at 1 p.m. and be a live telecast in Lexington on WKYT and Hazard on WYMT.
In the new Southeastern Conference television contract, one football game each season is designated for institutional control. The league designated the EKU contest as that game.
Under the terms of the contract, UK is allowed to do a live point-to-point telecast in the home markets of the participating teams, therefore WKYT in Lexington and WYMT in Hazard will carry the game. (A live over-the-air statewide telecast is not permitted.) In addition, the game can be seen nationwide on ESPN GamePlan, with no blackout areas.
The game also will be a delayed telecast on the Big Blue Sports Network.
