Cats Fall at Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Jon Townsend had three hits and two
R-B-Is to help lead Florida to a 10-to-7 win over Kentucky on
Saturday.
Florida scored five of its runs in the fourth inning and added
two more in the eighth. Hampton Tignor and Cole Figueroa each had
two hits for the Gators.
Kentucky rallied late in the game and picked up three runs in
the ninth inning but fell short of getting the win. Mike Brown had
three hits for Kentucky and Sawyer Carroll recorded two hits and
two R-B-Is.
Bryan Augenstein got the win for Florida and David Hurst pitched
3-and-one-third innings for the save. Andrew Albers picked up the
loss for Kentucky.
