Legion Commits To UK

UK coach Billy Gillispie has picked up a commitment from 6-5 shooting guard Alex Legion of Detroit, Michigan.

Legion committed to Michigan but changed his mind when Tommy Amaker was fired as head coach.

Legion played under Steve Smith at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. He will come to UK with the reputation of being an outstanding shooter. Legion shot 42% from 3-point range last season, 52% from inside the arc and 85% at the free throw line.
