Cody Overbeck and Logan Power hit home runs
and Lance Lynn struck out six as Mississippi beat Kentucky 9-2 on
Saturday to even the weekend series.
Justin Henry had three hits, including two triples, and drove in
two runs for the Rebels (33-19, 14-12 SEC) in a game that was
delayed for about 1½ hours by rain.
Zack Cozart also had three hits and two RBIs against Kentucky
(32-17-1, 11-14-1), which beat Ole Miss 8-1 on Friday.
Lynn (6-4) moved into third on the Rebels' single-season
strikeouts list with 112 after 7 1-3 innings. He allowed two runs
on four hits.
Andrew Albers (6-4) picked up the loss after allowing four runs
on nine hits in 5 2-3 innings.
Sean Coughlin hit a home run for the Wildcats.
