CINCINNATI (May 15, 2007) -- Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo will perform a benefit concert on Sunday, May 27, 7 p.m. at the new Lodge Bar, 35 E. 7th Street. Tickets are $25 per person with a limited number of VIP passes available for $100 which will include the opportunity to meet Bronson Arroyo, complimentary food and beverages.
The event will be also offer a sneak preview of the Lodge Bar, Cincinnati’s newest live music venue. City Beat, Lodge Bar and Miller Lite are presenting sponsors.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Reds Community Fund and their baseball outreach programs and Homes for Our Troops, a foundation for military families which Arroyo supports.

About Bronson Arroyo
Born in Key West, Florida and raised in Tampa, Florida, Bronson Arroyo came from a musical and sports family. Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1995, Arroyo was later signed by the Boston Red Sox in 2003. After the 2004 World Series won by the Red Sox, Arroyo teamed up with music producer Loren Harriet and music executive Lou Mann to create a 12 song album, “Covering the Bases” featuring cover songs that Arroyo would play for his teammates. Arroyo is in his second season with the Reds.
