Gillispie & Staff Spend Memorial Day Weekend Recruiting

While many had their feet up with the grill going, Billy Gillispie and the Wildcat staff on the trail of the nations best high school players this weekend in Nashville.
Jeff Drummond of the Catspause.com reports the UK coaches spent the weekend at the Nike Memorial Day Classic.
Among those they were targeting, Jamychal Green, a 6'8 225 pounder who just completed his junior season at St. Jude High in Montgomery, Alabama.
Rated as the 19th best prospect in the country, Green was offered a scholarship by Tubby Smith and the new UK staff has continued that push.
Green indicated that he'll be making a visit to UK some time in the next month.
Also at the camp, 6'8 Draymond Green, no relation to Jamychal who had committed to UK under Smith.
The Saginaw, Michigan star has re-opened his recruiting as the list now includes the Cats along with Minnesota, Dayton, Indiana and Xavier
