Lofton To Try Out For Pan Am Games

Tennessee's Chris Lofton has been
invited to try out for the U-S-A basketball team that will compete
at the Pan American Games.
Lofton, entering his senior collegiate season, is among 30
college players to make the list.
The tryouts will be held next month in Pennsylvania. The Pan Am
Games will be played later that month in Brazil.
Lofton, originally from Maysville, Kentucky, was named as the
Associated Press' Southeastern Conference Player of the Year after
the past season. He led the S-E-C in scoring with 20-point-eight
points per game, and made 42 percent of his three-point attempts.
In 2003, Lofton's junior year of high school, he led Mason
County to the Kentucky state championship.
