Ft. Campbell quarterback named Mr. Football

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - Fort Campbell quarterback Antonio
Andrews has been named the Kentucky High School Football Player of
the Year by The Associated Press.
The senior led the Falcons to a perfect 15-0 record this season
and the Class 2A state title. He accounted for more than 3,200
yards of total offense and 57 touchdowns.
Andrews was at his best when the Falcons needed it the most. He
rallied Fort Campbell from a 9-7 halftime deficit in the state
title game, throwing for a touchdown and running for another score
as the Falcons won their sixth state crown.
Fort Campbell coach Shawn Berner called Andrews "an incredible
athlete" who excels both on the field and in the classroom, where
Andrews carries a 3.4 grade-point average.
