UK Offers Scholarship to Power Forward

The University of Kentucky Basketball program has offered a scholarship to 6-8 Power Forward Olek Czyz (pronounced chizz). Czyz goes to high school in Nevada but is originally from Poland. He is starting to draw the attention of several schools.

Czyz has offers from Washington State, Arizona State, Nevada, Pepperdine and Santa Clara as well as Kentucky. Duke, North Carolina and UCLA have also taken a look at the post player.

Scout.com lists Czyz as the 19th best Power Forward prospect in the country. His positives are listed as athleticism and competitiveness.

Czyz's coach Kyle Schellin said the player planned to make campus visits this fall before picking a college.
