BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - There'll be a new voice calling the action for Western Kentucky University athletics this year.
Longtime broadcaster Randy Lee has been hired as the Voice of the Hilltoppers. Lee replaces Mike Legg, who is relocating to Memphis after six years on the job in Bowling Green.
Lee comes to the Hilltoppers from Nebraska, where he worked for the Husker Sports Network since 2002. Previous stops in Legg's career include U-C Santa Barbara and Charlotte.
Lee said it's an exciting time to join the Hilltopper program. W-K-U is in the process of moving to Division One-A in football and has one of the better basketball programs in the Sun Belt Conference. Lee said he feels like he's going home again in Bowling Green.
