Louisville Central linebacker Tim Patterson has signed with Kentucky.
"He's a big deal," recruitiing guru Tom Lemming said of Patterson. "I know Louisville took a commitment (Pleasure Ridge Park's Brandon Dunn) from Kentucky, but (Patterson) is the best prospect in the state."
Patterson was a four-year starter at Central, and led the Yellowjackets in tackling three times. He's ranked No. 31 at outside linebacker in the nation by Rivals. As a junior he had 95 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions and as a senior he had 92 tackles in 11 games before tearing a knee ligament and undergoing surgery. He helped lead Central to two state titles during his career.
