NEW YORK (AP) - Jose Reyes cracked a two-run home run to help lead the New York Mets to a 5-to-2 victory over visiting Cincinnati yesterday.
Lastings Milledge added a two-run double for the Mets.
Oliver Perez pitched six strong innings in his return from the disabled list, and Billy Wagner worked a perfect ninth to record his 20th save in 21 chances.
Reds starter Kyle Lohse (lohs) threw 100 pitches but failed to get out of the fifth. He drops to 5-and-11 with the loss.
Adam Dunn knocked out a scoreboard panel with a long home run for Cincinnati in the fourth.
The Mets took three of four from Cincinnati. The National League East leaders have won eight of their last ten at home. They remain one and a-half games ahead of second-place Atlanta.
The Reds have lost 14 of 20 on the road.
