OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - The Golden State Warriors have re-signed guard Kelenna Azubuike.
The former U-K standout played in 41 games with Golden State as a rookie last season, starting nine times while averaging seven points and two-point-three rebounds. The Warriors picked up the former Wildcat in January from the N-B-A Development League, which he led with 26 points per game at the time of his callup.
Azubuike also played on the Warriors' summer league team in Las Vegas earlier in the month, averaging 21 points, six rebounds and two-point-five assists in two games.
