Cats, Cornell contrasting teams at Syracuse regional

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - John Calipari understands expectations are
always sky-high at Kentucky. That's goes with the job of coaching
the Wildcats.

Calipari says coaching the top-seeded Wildcats (34-2) is not
"not for the faint of heart." He knows it won't be considered a
successful season for Kentucky if it loses against 12th-seeded
Cornell in the East Regional semifinal.

Cornell (29-4) has already had a great season by any measure of
success at the Ivy League school. The Big Red had a blast at their
open practice Thursday at Syracuse.

They worked on halfcourt shots and stifled laughs at the podium
during the news conference. Cornell is loose and confident.

That might not matter much against a Kentucky team loaded with
future NBA talent.
