EKU Roomates Lead Ky Open

If the past few weeks of golf in Kentucky are any indication of the future of Eastern Kentucky University Men's Golf, then Coach Pat Stephens can just sit on a lounge chair and enjoy the view. Philip Hendrickson won the AT&T State Amateur in June and now he and EKU teammate Justin Moore will be in the final pairing group tied for the lead in the 2007 5/3 Bank - Callaway Golf Kentucky Open.

The low score of the day came from Maysville Professional Mark Blakefield as he shot a 3 under par 68. Other notable scores were even par rounds of 71 from John Bachman, Ryan McCann, and Grant Sturgeon.
