LEXINGTON, Ky. – Freshman running back Moncell Allen has sustained a broken thumb and will undergo surgery on Thursday, Coach Rich Brooks has announced.
Brooks said that a timetable for Allen’s return to the field would be estimated after the surgery. Allen has been seeing action at fullback and tailback during preseason practice.
