Football Wildcats Elect 2007 Captains

During Wednesday’s Jefferson Co. Alumni Luncheon held in Louisville, UK football coach Rich Brooks announced quarterback Andre Woodson and linebacker Wesley Woodyard had been voted team captains for the 2007 season.

Woodson, a senior from Radcliff, and Woodyard, a senior from LaGrange, Ga., were selected in a vote by the Wildcat football team.

Brooks praised his seniors for their leadership qualities in making the announcement to the alumni group, who gathered for the luncheon at the Galt House West.
