After long talks with his family, Lexington Horsemen Owner Lenny House said tonight that the Horsemen will not be coming back next year.
House said the team is simply losing too much money.

The Horsemen averaged around 2,300 fans this past season. The team needed to average at least 4,000 to financially break even.

After struggling on the field for much of the 2007 season, the Horsemen did rebound to make it all the way to the title game of their league.
