Former UK fullback John Conner has signed a very nice sized contract with the New York Jets. The fifth-round draft pick received a four-year, $1.99 million contract from the Jets, according to NJ.com reports. Conner also received a $199,000 signing bonus. If you add in all possible escalators, the contract could reach $2.72 million.
Conner is expected to back up Tony Richardson this season as his likely heir apparent. Conner told NJ.com, "I think it’s a perfect spot. It’s a ground-and-pound game, which is good for me.”
