Lumpkin Doubtful For Louisville

UK Coach Rich Brooks said Sunday defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin is very doubtful for next Saturday's game with Louisville. Lumpkin injured a hip in Saturday night's 56-20 victory over Kent State. Brooks said Lumpkin was still in pain today and will undergo an MRI on the hip.

Brooks did not rule out defensive tackle Myron Pryor for next weekend. Pryor sat out the season opener with EKU because of a one game suspension and was in the lineup for the first time Saturday when he went out early with an injured pectoral muscle. Brooks said Ventrell Jenkins and Corey Peters would have to fill the void at defensive tackle.

Linebacker Marcus McClinton and cornerbacks E.J. Adams and David Jones were all sidelined for the Kent State game but Brooks said he was hopeful they would be able to return.

Saturday's game with Louisville can be seen live on WKYT beginning at 7:30pm
