NEW YORK (AP) - The University of Louisville's football team is out of the Top 25 rankings after Saturday's loss to Syracuse.
Meanwhile, the University of Kentucky's football team jumped several notches in the poll up to Number 14 in the country.
Louisville entered Saturday's game against Syracuse ranked Number 18. But, Louisville's 20-game home winning streak fell as the Cardinals lost 38-35. Meanwhile, UK defeated Arkansas 42 to 29 on Saturday.
The ranking marks the highest Kentucky has been since it finished sixth in 1977.
