“We want to offer a family-friendly venue, a fun time at a reasonable cost,” says Operations Manager Starr Williams. “Our tickets are very affordably priced, and we even have a Family Fun Zone section sponsored by Bluegrass Family Health which is alcohol-free. We’re hoping that families will make our games part of their football tradition.” Other sections of note are the Feral Fan section for the rowdy crowd (cowbells welcome) and the Heart of the Bluegrass Section for charitable organizations which were gifted tickets by the Warhorses and other community business and sponsors.
The Bluegrass Warhorses are members of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL), which was founded in 2006, entering its consecutive 9th year, and is currently the longest standing Professional Indoor Football League in the country.
The Bluegrass Warhorses’ mission is to provide indoor entertainment that is fun and affordable for the entire family. We are a fast-paced, hard-hitting, high-scoring, competitive professional football team with the will and determination to win championships. We are committed to being a member of the community by being involved with local schools and local non-profit organizations within Central Kentucky, i.e. Habitat for Humanity, The Wounded Warrior Project, The American Heart Association and the Humane Society.
