Bowling Green scores 49 unanswered points to beat Pulaski 49-14 and claim Class 5A title

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Blake Pillow rushed for 150 yards and Blue Tisdale put up three touchdowns as Bowling Green scored 49 unanswered points to roll past Pulaski 49-14 in the KHSAA Class 5A championship game at Houchens Industries/L.T. Smith Stadium.

The win Sunday marks the Purples third consecutive state championship and their third straight undefeated season.

Pulaski County jumped out to a 14-0 lead behind a 25-yard score from quarterback Riley Hall, who finished the game with 41 yards on the ground while completing 19-of-31 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown pass.

Pulaski finishes the season 14-and-1.
