Bucks' guard Doron Lamb injured

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Milwaukee Bucks and former UK Wildcat guard, Doron Lamb, will not participate in the Bucks' upcoming training camp due to an injury. Lamb told the Milwaukee media on Monday he tore a ligament in his left elbow.

The former Wildcat said he suffered the injury while trying to defend a pick-and-roll play during team practices. When asked whether he will need surgery, Lamb responded: "I hope it heals on its own."

The Bucks drafted Lamb with the 42nd overall pick in the NBA Draft and is expected to battle for playing time with Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis, Beno Udrih and recently-signed veteran Marquis Daniels. Lamb is considered a developmental prospect for the Bucks.
