Lexington, Ky. (WKYT) - John Calipari's next Kentucky team practiced 16 times this summer and Cal has been raving about 7-foot freshman Willie Cauley-Stein. He did it again in an exclusive interview with WKYT.

Cauley-Stein is the big man out of Olathe, Kansas who committed to the Cats last October. Back in June Calipari called him underated. He's exploring the possibility of playing Cauley-Stein alongside big man Nerlens Noel.

At this stage Calipari can't really say just how good Cauley-Stein is.

"Until the popcorn's brewin, ya know what I'm saying. Until their number is on the back and there's 25,000 in the seats, it's hard to tell exactly how good he is at this stage. But I will tell you the kid's a great kid and he's improved. He's gained 25 pounds. So our thing right now, and my thing as a coach, how do we play the 6-11 kid and the 7-footer together?"

"I got with Coach Hall and I said, 'how did you do that twin tower stuff you use to do?'" Cal quipped. "He and I laughed."
