Calipari and players mum about tweak

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - John Calipari said he tweaked his offense in Monday's practice and "you'll see a different team on Friday." Calipari and his players aren't saying what the tweak is as they prepare to head to Atlanta to play in the quarterfinals of the S-E-C Tournament.

"I think what you’ll do is you’ll see a different team when you watch Friday." said Calipari. "If you know anything about basketball, you’ll know exactly what I did. If you don’t know anything about basketball, you’ll look at everybody else’s tweets and read their blogs and say, ‘what is he saying they did because I have no – I don’t know basketball. I hope somebody knows so I can write like I know.’”

Calipari is hopeful his players will be more confident and handle adversity better on the court. "The issue becomes for us, when adversity hits, how do we respond? Do we come together? And what we’re looking for is, they make a 3, they bank a shot, we miss two free throws or three, we turn it over and you look out and you see a team that just comes together."

Kentucky will play either LSU or Alabama Friday night. Coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. on WKYT with Wildcat Warmup. Tipoff will be at 7:00 p.m.
