LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UK coach John Calipari is a master at motivating his players. Tuesday night after the Cats beat Ole Miss, Calipari said his team is the most overanalyzed in all of sports. Friday afternoon, Calipari analyzed the reaction to his comment.

"I'll say things, I speak the truth." said Calipari. "But it's funny how guys know what my mind is, like, 'I know what he thinks.' Really? I like to talk in parables and those who understand listen and the others don't have any idea what I'm talking about."

Calipari said being at UK has been the greatest five years of his life. He enjoys the challenge of motivating a young team. "But it's the fun thing about being here. I mean, I think its prepared our players and its taken me to the beginning of February to convince these players that every team's against us, everybody's against us, Jerry's (Tipton) against us. Its taken me that long. Ya know what, you guys have helped me, they now believe it and its made us play better." With that comment Calipari headed into practice.

Kentucky travels to Mississippi State Saturday. Tipoff at 1:30 p.m. on WKYT. Wildcat Warm-Up will begin at 1:00 p.m.
