Yahtzee! Cats get commitment from top running back

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Yahtzee!

It's become the code word that UK coaches are using to signal when they've received a commitment from a player.

On Wednesday, Stanley "Boom" Williams committed to the Wildcats, leading UK coach Mark Stoops to Tweet, "Yahtzee!!! BBN. Can I get a Yahtzee."

Williams is rated the No. 1 all-purpose running back by Rivals and No. 96 overall. Micah Johnson was the last Top 100 player to commit to Kentucky in the Rivals era.

Williams had offers from Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee and Clemson, among others.

The Bethlehem, Georgia native is 5-foot-8, 186-pounds.

With Williams' commitment, Stoops' first class at UK is now rated No. 3 in the country.
