LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UK freshman Dakari Johnson continues to see more playing time while sophomore Willie Cauley-Stein struggled through his third straight game against Texas A&M.

Johson came off the bench and played 24 minutes against the Aggies. He started the second half and finished with six points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots.

"I just feel like I'm getting more comfortable in the college game." said Johnson. "It took me awhile since I'm a big man, I'm not use to playing a whole possession on defense. But now, what coach Cal has told me to do, I'm just trying to listen to him and as long as I listen to him, I'm going to be fine."

Calipari said Johnson is doing some good stuff going after balls, but he missed the only two free throws he attempted in the game. "Ya know you gotta make free throws. You don't have to make em all, you just can't miss em all."

Cauley-Stein played only nine minutes Tuesday night. Hes scored only three pints in the last three games. "He wants to do well." said Calipari. "He was doing really well and he backed up a little bit and it's like a slippery slope. When you back up and you don't keep bringing it, all of a sudden you go that other way. This sport is mental as much as anything else. It's like Alex right now. Mentally Alex thinks he's going to kill you, so he will. Last year that's not how Alex was thinking."
